Hand-Rolled Masala Agarbatti
The classic Indian incense stick: a masala paste of herbs, resins and wood powder rolled by hand onto a bamboo core.
Masala agarbatti is rolled rather than dipped, so the fragrance sits through the body of the stick instead of on its surface. The result is a slower, rounder burn that does not fade halfway down — the reason this remains the specification most serious importers ask for.
We roll on a bamboo core with a charcoal or wood-powder base depending on the scent family. Woody and resinous fragrances go on charcoal for depth; florals go on a lighter wood base so the top notes stay clean.
