About Ojas Nova

An India-based export house built around a simple idea: one accountable partner for the everyday consumables that hotels, distributors and retailers reorder every month.

Who we are

Ojas Nova LLP is an export house, not a trading desk. The difference matters. A trading desk finds you a price; an export house takes responsibility for the specification, the inspection, the documentation and the container — and is still there when the third reorder needs to match the first.

We work across five ranges that share a common commercial logic: they are everyday consumables, they are reordered on a predictable cycle, and India makes them exceptionally well. Incense from Gujarat and Karnataka. Bed linen from Panipat and Erode. Towels from Solapur and Karur. Toiletries from GMP-certified facilities. Tissue from converting lines we know by name.

What the crane in our mark stands for

The demoiselle crane crosses the Himalaya twice a year, one of the longest and highest migrations any bird makes, and it navigates the same route reliably every season. That is not a bad description of what an export house is supposed to do: cover long distances, cross difficult borders, and arrive when it said it would.

Trust, Quality, Excellence is on our mark because those three are the whole proposition. Everything below is just how we deliver them.

How we are set up

We consolidate. Most buyers in our categories do not need a full container of any single product. They need a mixed load — some linen, some towels, a pallet of amenity kits, a few thousand cartons of tissue. Sourcing that from five suppliers means five negotiations, five inspections, five sets of documents and five things that can go wrong. We do it as one.

We inspect before it sails. Every consignment gets an AQL inspection against the agreed specification, with a photographic report sent to you before the container is sealed. If something fails, you hear it from us before you hear it from your customer.

We put the specification in writing. GSM, ply, yarn count, fill volume, fragrance load, shrinkage tolerance, colour fastness grade. All of it goes on the proforma invoice. It is the only way a reorder can be held to the same standard as the original.

We stay in one lane on paperwork. Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of lading, and whatever your market adds on top — cosmetic notifications for toiletries, fumigation for wooden pallets, FSC chain-of-custody for certified tissue. Prepared correctly, first time, because a document error at the destination port costs more than the margin on the order.

Who we sell to

  • Importers and wholesale distributors stocking home, hygiene and personal care categories
  • Hotel groups and hospitality procurement buying linen, towels and amenity programmes
  • Retail chains and supermarkets looking for private-label ranges at a defined shelf price
  • Spa, wellness and gift retailers buying incense and premium bath products
  • Facility management and catering suppliers buying tissue and washroom consumables in volume

Working with us

We are straightforward about what we are good at and what we are not. We will tell you when a specification you have asked for will not survive your laundry, when a fragrance will not clear your market’s cosmetic regulations, and when a competing quotation you have received is cheaper because it is a genuinely different product rather than a better deal.

That honesty is slower than the alternative in the first conversation and considerably faster in every one after it.
