Bed Sheets
Cotton Sateen Bed Linen
A four-over-one weave with a soft lustre and a heavier drape — the premium end of the linen offer.
Sateen floats more yarn on the surface than percale does, which is what gives it that low sheen and the fluid drape. It feels warmer and more luxurious in the hand, and it photographs considerably better — the reason it dominates the premium retail and boutique-hotel end of the market.
It is a more delicate construction than percale, so we recommend it where laundering is gentler than a commercial hotel cycle, or where the property is willing to accept a shorter replacement interval in exchange for the hand feel.
